Freedom Festival is Sumner County’s largest Independence Day celebration. Anchored in the center of Hendersonville, Drakes Creek Parks offers expansive views of the firework finale that will light up the sky. Freedom Festival began in 2004 as a way to give back to our local schools through the Hendersonville Chamber Foundation (hyperlink to chamber foundation page) and the Golden Apple Teacher Grants. Over the years, the Chamber Foundation has granted over $400,000 to Hendersonville area schools and teachers.
Every year on July 3rd, you will find nearly 100 vendors showcasing their goods and a variety of food vendors tempting your taste buds. This will be an annual event your family won’t want to miss!
