Hendersonville Freedom Festival Celebrates America’s 250th Anniversary
Hendersonville, TN - June 24, 2026. The Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the City of Hendersonville and the Hendersonville Parks and Recreation Department, announces the 2026 Freedom Festival on July 3rd. This year’s celebration is set to be a milestone event as our community joins together to honor America’s 250th Anniversary with a day of music, family fun, and Sumner County’s most spectacular fireworks display.
The festival offers something for everyone, including a Kids Zone, a variety of local food trucks, and an array of vendors. The heart of the event remains our local entertainment, and the massive fireworks show that lights up the Hendersonville sky.
“There is no better place to celebrate a quarter-millennium of American independence than right here in Hendersonville,” said Mayor Jamie Clary. “Our city is built on community pride and family values, and this 250th-anniversary celebration reflects the collaborative spirit that makes our home so special.”
Musical festivities kick off early with Uncle Shuffelo & His Haint Hollow Hootenanny bringing their unique energy to the stage as our opening act. They will be followed by our headliner, Rockland Road, whose melodic country-pop sound is certain to provide the perfect soundtrack for our summer celebration.
“We are thrilled to welcome the entire community to this landmark event. The Freedom Festival is a true testament to what we can achieve when we come together, and it would not be possible without the tireless dedication of the Hendersonville Chamber Staff and the Freedom Fest Steering Committee, spearheaded by local business members. Celebrating America's 250th Anniversary alongside our neighbors, local businesses, and city partners is a moment of pride for us all. It's going to be an unforgettable day!” said Ashton Jennings, Hendersonville Chamber President & CEO.
