The Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the appointment of Ashton Jennings as its new President and CEO, effective June 1, 2026.
Jennings was selected following an extensive search process led by the Chamber’s Board of Directors Search Committee. His appointment marks an exciting new chapter for the organization as it continues its mission to support local businesses, strengthen community partnerships, and drive economic growth throughout Hendersonville and Sumner County.
With more than two decades of leadership experience spanning nonprofit management, business development, strategic partnerships, marketing, and community engagement, Jennings brings a dynamic combination of operational expertise and relationship-driven leadership to the role.
Most recently, Jennings served as Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships for the Nashville Symphony, where he led corporate partnership strategy and revenue development initiatives while serving on the organization’s senior executive leadership team. His career also includes executive leadership positions with Boys & Girls Clubs, The University of Tennessee Foundation, entrepreneurial ventures, and regional business development initiatives.
Throughout his career, Jennings has built a reputation for strategic vision, collaborative leadership, and a strong commitment to community-focused growth. His experience includes leading multimillion-dollar fundraising and partnership efforts, launching innovative programs, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and guiding organizations through transformational growth initiatives.

Jennings expressed enthusiasm for joining the Chamber and becoming part of the Hendersonville business community.

As President and CEO, Jennings will oversee the Chamber’s strategic initiatives, membership engagement, programming, operations, and community partnerships while helping guide the organization’s continued growth and impact.
