WHAT: TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center will be conducting a closed emergency response drill during the morning on Friday, March 20. This exercise is not open to the public or media, but due to the significant presence of emergency vehicles, personnel and activity in the area, we want to alert the community in advance to avoid unnecessary concern.
WHY: Our emergency preparedness team often conducts risk assessments annually and performs response drills in collaboration with local police and public safety agencies. In a continued effort to provide the highest response capabilities, we will be conducting an exercise during the morning hours and will have multiple agencies onsite.
WHO: TriStar Hendersonville staff, law enforcement agencies, public safety agencies, emergency medical services and other partner agencies.
This drill is a planned training exercise designed to enhance preparedness and coordination among emergency response teams. We appreciate the public’s cooperation and understanding as we work to ensure the safety and readiness of our teams.
