Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with Union University and Luanne Powell, Senior Program Director for the School of Adult and Professional Studies, to launch this four-part Chamber University leadership series, sponsored by Meta.
Session 4 of Chamber University focuses on “Courage and Moral Leadership,” exploring the responsibility leaders carry in setting the ethical tone for their organizations. This session will examine how a leader’s decisions, actions, and consistency influence the culture and standards within a team or workplace.
Participants will discuss what it means to act as a moral leader and how integrity, accountability, and principled decision making build trust with employees, partners, and the broader community. The session will also explore the importance of leading with courage, especially when facing difficult decisions, challenging conversations, or situations that require standing firm on values.
The conversation will conclude with a reflection on finding personal courage in leadership. Attendees will consider how character, conviction, and clarity of purpose help leaders navigate pressure while remaining committed to doing what is right. Participants will leave with practical insight into how courageous leadership can strengthen both their organizations and the people they serve.
This four-class series is designed to provide ongoing professional development for business owners and their teams throughout the year. Attend individually or invest in your employees to build stronger leaders within your organization.
