Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with Union University and Luanne Powell, Senior Program Director for the School of Adult and Professional Studies, to launch this four-part Chamber University leadership series, sponsored by Meta.

Session 3 of Chamber University focuses on “The Leader as an Individual,” exploring how personal awareness and character shape effective leadership. This session will highlight the importance of self-awareness and how understanding your own strengths, habits, and communication style can influence the way you lead others.

Participants will also examine common leadership blind spots and how they can impact decision making, team relationships, and organizational culture. The discussion will include strategies for working effectively with different personality types, helping leaders build stronger collaboration and trust within their teams.

The session will also reflect on the role of personal values and attitudes in leadership, emphasizing how integrity, mindset, and daily choices influence the environment leaders create around them. Attendees will leave with practical insights to help them grow as more thoughtful, self-aware, and effective leaders in their organizations.

This four-class series is designed to provide ongoing professional development for business owners and their teams throughout the year. Attend individually or invest in your employees to build stronger leaders within your organization.

Join us and take the next step in developing leaders who move your business forward.
