Hendersonville, Tennessee – June 15, 2022 – The Hendersonville Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet presented by Hallmark Hyundai took place on Tuesday, June 7, from 11:30 – 1:00pm at Bluegrass Yacht and Country Club.
Hendersonville’s business community is growing and we are fortunate to have many businesses within our community that stand out and give back in more ways than one. The Hendersonville Chamber honored the contributions of two businesses by awarding Small Business of the Year (less than 15 employees) and Large Business of the year (more than 16 employees). The business of the year award goes to the member company that demonstrates financial success, progressive management, superior customer service and concern for the community. The Chamber also awarded Volunteer of the Year to the person that had demonstrated a willingness to serve the community of Hendersonville. Again, this year, we allowed our membership a say in the final decision by opening it up for nominees and a committee vote. During the Awards Luncheon, we also recognized our 2021-2022 Board Members for their service and inducted the 2022-2023 Board Members.
The Chamber Volunteer of the Year Award is presented to a member for outstanding participation in Chamber activities. It is based on number of hours donated as well as results achieved, spirit of cooperation, and community concern expressed. This year, the Hendersonville Chamber awarded 3 Volunteer of the year awards to three of our most dedicated volunteers. We are thrilled this year to present the 2022 Volunteer of the Year award to Kelley Crecelius with First Horizon Bank, Scot Robinson with Olympian Construction Company, and Joe Rewa with Hendersonville Utility District.

His team has handed out gift cards to crossing guards, sponsored food trucks for neighborhoods, and handed out meals to churches. Last month, they even sponsored a Knox Doss football player for his next season.
