McDonald’s celebrates an upscale dining experience at the Hendersonville restaurant grand reopening

Local owner-operator Lee McNair celebrates with specials, giveaways and a charity donation during the grand reopening event

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 5, 2018) — Modernized design and cutting-edge technology are arriving in Hendersonville at the grand reopening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the local McDonald’s. The community is invited to celebrate the new Golden Arches on Wednesday, December 5 at the 305 New Shackle Island Road restaurant location.

“We are eager to open the doors of this renovated restaurant for the Hendersonville community,” said local owner-operator, Lee McNair. “This is more than a renovation, it’s a promise to the community that we put our customers first.”

Two-thirds of all McDonald’s restaurants in Hendersonville are now modernized with this grand opening. McNair celebrates 20 years in the McDonald’s business, working up from crewmember to owner-operator in the Middle Tennessee area. The day’s celebration will also include a donation to Merrol Hyde Magnet School, which was recently recognized as a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School. This premiere honor, granted by U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, is only awarded to 349 schools nationwide. McDonald’s celebrates Merrol Hyde’s outstanding achievement through this charity donation, to help ensure future Hendersonville students can receive this quality education.

In addition to the donation, the McDonald’s grand reopening will be celebrated throughout the day with giveaways and prizes. The first 50 customers are eligible to receive one FREE Egg McMuffin, Big Mac or Bacon Egg & Cheese Sandwich for a year coupon starting at 6 a.m., 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Highlights of the modernized Hendersonville restaurant include: digital self-order kiosks, digital menus inside and outside of the restaurant, table service, dual drive-thru lanes for faster service, upgraded and energy-efficient LED lighting, modern d├ęcor and free Wi-Fi.

Mobile Order and Pay. Now offering mobile order and pay, customers download the McDonald’s app, place their order and pick up curbside, in the drive-thru or in the restaurant.

Self-Order Kiosks. For guests looking to order at their own pace, new digital self-order kiosks make ordering and paying for a meal easy. Kiosks empower guests to browse the menu, find new options and customize their meal.

Table Service. Guests’ orders are delivered to tables by McDonald’s crew members, allowing customers to relax and enjoy a more custom dining experience.
