The 2017 Taste of Hendersonville WINNERS
The 2017 Taste of Hendersonville presented by Goddard School of Hendersonville showcased over 35 restaurants and nearly 100 vendors from the Hendersonville Area at the Streets of Indian Lake on Thursday, September 28, from 5:00-8:00 pm.
Thousands of attendees purchased a punch card allowing access to taste food from every booth and even vote for their favorite. Live entertainment, kid’s zone, and a VIP Lounge made it fun for everyone. Outside of the People’s Choice award, celebrity judges were on-hand to critique each entrant and present the Best Entree, Best Kids Cuisine, Best Dessert, Best Side Dish, Best Appetizer, Best Sandwich or Burger, Best Pizza, Best Craft Beer, Best Booth and the Best of Taste Awards after the event. Blue Grass Yacht and Country Club hosted beer tastings for the Battle of the Brew competition this year featuring craft beers from Roots Cider Company, Half Batch Brewing, and Briar Scratch Brewing.

Sandwich –Red Robin, Best Pizza- Sanders Ferry Pizza & Pub, Best Craft Beer-
Roots Blueberry Hard Cider, Best People’s Choice – Texas Roadhouse and Best of
Taste – Blossom & Cellar Door.
