FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Title: Hardee Accounting, PC sells firm to Alderman, Matt Stamper, CPA Contact: Matt Stamper Phone: 615-822-2432 Email: email@example.com Effective January 1, 2018, Stamper Accounting & Tax, PC acquires Hardee Accounting, PC. A year in the making, on December 31, 2017, Stamper Accounting & Tax, PC announced that it has officially acquired Hardee Accounting, PC, a Hendersonville, Tennessee based company. The purchase will better serve the needs of the businesses in the Hendersonville area and surrounding communities and allow for expansion and growth for both the firm and its clients. Hardee Accounting, PC owner, Kathryn Gupton, stated “Matt Stamper is a great CPA, a leader in our community, and will do a terrific job as the new owner of the firm. When Matt first expressed a desire to step up and acquire a firm, I knew he would be an asset to our clients. I educate my clients all the time on the value of an exit strategy and the importance on building a sellable business.” Finding the right new owner has always been Gupton’s goal, though she admits the transition has been bitter sweet. This transition allows Gupton the opportunity to fuel her passion: focusing on small businesses within the community to support and encourage entrepreneurship. Her new role as the Chief Financial Officer with the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce will provide her the opportunity to make a bigger difference and stronger impact in the lives of business members within the community. Stamper has almost two decades of tax preparation and consulting experience. He earned a Masters in Accountancy from Belmont and grew up in Hendersonville where he now serves as an Alderman and is an adjunct professor of Accounting at Union University in Hendersonville. Stamper and his wife, Maggie, have three children together and Matt's eldest son attends Austin Peay. He loves this community and is excited about this new endeavor.
