tnAchieves Mentor Recruitment Update

Good morning,

I am writing today to ask that you consider becoming a mentor with tnAchieves and provide support to local TN Promise students.  tnAchieves mentors spend about one hour per month reminding students of important deadlines, serving as a trusted college resource and, most importantly, encouraging students to reach their full potential.  More than 64,000 students from the Class of 2020 to apply for the scholarship this year.  Many of these students will be the first person in their family to go to college and just need a little extra assistance.

The application deadline for tnAchieves mentors is this Friday, December 6. We still need 78 more mentors in Sumner County to meet our goal of 320. Please consider applying by Friday to ensure each TN Promise applicant in our community has a local support system. You can apply at http://tnachieves.org/mentors/apply.

Thank you for considering this great volunteer opportunity!
