This scholarship is open to a member of the
Hendersonville Chamber; child or spouse of a member; employee of a member or child or spouse of employee.

This year the Hendersonville Chamber of Commerce School Improvement Awards will be administered by COMPASS.

If you are a teacher in a Hendersonville-area school and would like to apply for either a $500 grant or a $2500 grant, click here to visit the COMPASS site for more information and to download an application.  If you need an evaluation form for the 2007 grant, CLICK HERE

The Chamber Foundation still funds these grants and to help do that we conduct an annual fund raising event called the Freedom Festival.  It takes place every July 3rd to give Hendersonville families a chance to be at home together on the July 4th holiday.  It is one of the most popular events in the City all year long.

Foundation Purchases New Facility



The Chamber Foundation owns the building space occupied by the Chamber.  The rent paid to the Foundation provides the funding for its many worthwhile activities, incuding scholarships and teacher grants.
