Member Only Referrals
- when members and community residents contact the Chamber needing a business referral the staff only releases the information of members in good standing.
Membership Plaque
- display this in your lobby or front office to receive validity as a Chamber member business. Customer perception is that Chamber members tend to be more reputable, display good business practices, care more about customers, are community leaders, provide better products and services and have more credibility over non-members.
Chamber Lobby Collateral Display
- many consumers use the Chamber as a resource for business connections. Brochures and business cards are on display in the Chamber Lobby on a rotational basis.
Website Directory Listing and Links
- the Preferred Business Directory is used by members and non-members visiting the Chamber website. We currently list member business name, address, phone and fax number and website as well as key contact name and email.
Directory Listing
- the Chamber prints a Preferred Business Directory annually that is used by members and new residents seeking information on area businesses. Used much like a phone, this directory is stated as being the most widely used in our community.
Meeting Space Usage
- by moving to Country Club Place, the Chamber is now able to offer meeting space for our members. The Conference Room is available to rent for meetings and seminars and we offer our Business Accelerator Training Room and Small Conference Room to members for free. Reservations are required but can be obtained by calling the Chamber office.
Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening Assistance
- opening a new business can be overwhelming. The Chamber helps coordinate ribbon cuttings by contacting the Mayor's office, community newspapers and Chamber Ambassadors and inviting them to your event. The Chamber provides this service and brings the ribbon and scissors for free.
Members Making News
- each week the Chamber emails an e-newsletter with the latest Chamber news and information. Members are allowed to submit a newsworthy item to the Director of Marketing to be included for free.
Committee Involvement
- the Chamber currently runs 15 active committees. Being involved means greater exposure to other committee members as well as the opportunity to give back to the community.
Educational Seminars
- Occasionally the Chamber will provide members with educational seminars geared to help businesses with various topics. Seminars in the past have included social networking, website needs and functionality and sales and marketing tips for the small business owner.
Member Orientation
- held every other month, these meetings are designed to help new members navigate the many benefits of Chamber membership. Veteran members are also invited to learn of new programs and services.
E-newsletter
- emailed weekly, this publication allows members to keep up with the many things going on at the Chamber including a main article, members making news, Chamber Calendar and upcoming events.
